Organic smoothie goodness!
Whether you’ve made your own almond milk or bought some from the store this smoothie is a delicious indulgence- at the expense of your purse, not your health! Yes, bananas are expensive at the moment but that’s all the more reason to make sure none go to waste. Using frozen banana in your smoothie will give it extra creamy sweetness. You’re guaranteed to appreciate every single sip…
Serve as is or serve with muesli for a special breakfast: either way it’s best enjoyed in the sunshine!
Ingredients (for 1)
1 large or 2 small ripe bananas, chopped then frozen
1 Tbsp date paste
2 pinches ground cinnamon
250 ml almond milk (home made or store-bought)
Combine banana, date paste, cinnamon and half the almond milk in a blender or food processor and process vigorously until smooth. Add the remaining almond milk and process to combine. Serve with ice cubes and a dash of cinnamon.
